Hi Michele! Of course – our book club is open to anyone. We have selected one book per month up until next December (this can be seen under the ‘Book Club (2013-2014)’ tab), which both April and I will read and then post reviews about. Anyone is welcome to join in, and can comment on our reviews to tell us their thoughts. We’d love you to join us if you see a book which takes your fancy. 🙂

Thanks so much! I’m not really into YA, I must admit. I read it occasionally, and actually, some of the YA books which I’ve read have been really good, but I just find them a little insipid and quite predictable on the whole. Do buy ‘Rebecca’! It’s a stunning novel, and the story will stick with you for a long time.

What I love is that it’s complete chance when you get there! You never know what you might find! Especially in the trunks outside the front…. I think my best find was 30 green crime penguins all discarded from a house clearance and going for 50p each… so I took them all!!!! What about you???
Yes, I completely agree! What a wonderful find! I think mine has to be a copy of Beatrix Potter’s letters which I’d been looking for for ages; I got it for about £6, I think, and had only seen it online for £30+.
