It’s fabulous that we have so many favourite books in common! I really want all of the de Vigans to be translated into English, but feel I may have a horribly long time to wait!
Hi Kirsty! I really liked the movie version of A Very Long Engagement! It was so beautiful to watch! I have yet to read the novel but I have it somewhere around my house if you want to do another read along with me. I really enjoyed Hermione Lee’s biography on Edith Wharton. It is really well written and I loved how she described all the plots of her novels. Anyways, let me know if you want to do another read along! Sincerely, Nora
That’s wonderful to know; I’ll definitely have to watch it! I’ve already read the book, but if you want to discuss it when you’ve found your copy, that would be great. 🙂 Oh, wonderful! I may have to add that to the neverending to-read list too!
So pleased you listed some of my favourite reads there (the Woolf biography, the Japrisot and de Vigan books) – and all of them this past month!
