The wonderful Belinda and I are going to be taking a week in August/September to blog about five of the same books, all of which we have in common on our teetering to-read piles.Ā We have already decided upon our schedule, which is as follows:
August 31st – Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys
September 1st – In Cold Blood by Truman Capote
September 2nd – In Falling Snow by Mary-Rose MacColl
September 3rd – The Beautiful and Damned by F. Scott Fitzgerald
September 4th – War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy
If anyone else would like to take part in our project for any of these books, please let us know – the more, the merrier!
Lovely idea – if I can get round to War and Peace I will try to join in! š
Wonderful – hope you can! š
All the best you two ! My exams will be over by Sept so I’ll try my best to join in š
Thank you! Wonderful – hope you can join in, and best of luck with your exams!
That is a big list for one week! Good luck!
Thanks so much, Kate! š
Wow, War and Peace… you’re ending the week with a bang. I’ll try to join you for the first two; those have been teetering on my pile for way too long.
We are indeed! That’s mainly why we’ve given ourselves such a long time to read the books. Wonderful! š
Good luck! Very interesting idea. š
Thank you, dear heart!
PS. I may need hugs when I get to ‘War and Peace’.
Anytime, love, you know that. š
